May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden
Located adjacent to the Museum’s West Wing and directly behind the Sculpture Court Café, the May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden has been dramatically renovated. The recently re-landscaped Sculpture Garden features 19th- and 20th-century modern and contemporary sculptures by George Rickey, Barbara Hepworth, David Smith, Henry Moore, and a never-before-shown work by Alexander Liberman.
In addition to newly fabricated concrete bases and outdoor lighting, several of the Museum's modern and contemporary sculptures have undergone conservation. The garden also features new benches provided by the Museum members and docents. Each bench in the garden celebrates a life, a love and a memory. Enjoy an afternoon in the garden, grab lunch at the café, or plan your special event, wedding, reception, or meeting in the space.
Please note: The May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden will be closed from Wednesday, November 6, through Sunday, November 17. Sculpture Court Café will remain open during this time.
