An accomplished composer, Henry VIII fostered music at his royal court, employing the likes of Robert Fayrfax, William Cornyshe and the young Thomas Tallis. La Jolla Renaissance Singers, under the direction of William Propp, will feature vocal and instrumental works by the king and his circle.
