The Human Beast: German Expressionism

The Museum recently received a bequest from the estate of Dr. Vance Kondon and Elizabeth Giesberger that includes 48 paintings, drawings and prints. Museum Docent Marilyn Woods will focus on the works of key figures in this avant-garde movement.

Now in its fifth year, this annual community celebration highlights the victory of good over evil. Enjoy two cultural performances in the James S. Copley Auditorium, one at 3:00 p.m. and a second at 4:00 p.m, an outdoor procession of 1,000 ceremonial lamps, an installation of 54 large lights and henna painting in the May S. Marcy Sculpture Court & Garden, and docent led tours of Temple, Palace, Mosque.
