Heritage Luncheon and Silent Auction

Join the Asian Arts Council for their Annual Heritage Luncheon and Silent Auction at the Prado Grand Ballroom. As always, there will be great Asian items to bid on at the Silent Auction, along with a presentation by Michael Knight, Ph.D., Senior Curator of Chinese Art at the Asian Art Museum, San Francisco.

December Nights

The Museum will be closed during the day and open from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., December 7 and 8, in celebration of Balboa Park’s 35th annual December Nights holiday festival. In addition to free admission the Museum will host concerts in the Hibben Gallery both evenings.

Explore the possibilities of line as you make lively contour drawings. The art project and tour focus on specific elements of art found in the galleries. Each Sunday inThe Studio we'll explore a new art-making activity inspired by paintings, sculptures, and drawings on view at The Museum. Play with games, earn prizes from the Search and Find, and engage in family-friendly, docent-led tours.
