Yoga at the Museum

Monday, 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
Hibben Gallery

Experience art in context during Yoga at the Museum. Strengthen your mind and body as you practice yoga in Museum galleries and meditate on the art around you. Instructor Amy Pachowicz will offer one six-week course ending in March and one four-week course beginning April 1. Classes are limited to 15 people and can be purchased individually or as a series.

ArtStop: Alternative Accounts

Mary Klann discuss Alternative Accounts. Mary was a student in the Representing Native America course at the University of California, San Diego and helped to co-curate the exhibition.

ArtStops are 15 minute, staff-led tours of one to three works on view. Museum curators and educators present these brief yet always enlightening and informative talks every Thursday and third Tuesday at noon.

Looking in Depth at Paintings from the Spanish and Italian Collections of The San Diego Museum of Art

Nigel McGilchrist, Art Historian, will look at paintings in the Museum's Spanish and Italian collection, focusing on the methods by which they were crafted and painted and the way their visual design was conceived. This exploration will reveal insights into the times, minds, and hands of those who created them.
