About Tam Ashworth
Tam’s passion for flowers blossomed as a young girl growing up in Thailand. Before attending boarding school in England, she exclaims, “I knew what Daffodils were even before I even learned English Book One!” After graduating from boarding school, Tam moved to Paris to study interior design. Then, back in her native Thailand, she pursued modeling and graced the fashion runways. This experience rounded her scope for all things beautiful. On a whim, she moved to the United States, where she began a career as a florist with the Four Seasons in Los Angeles.
Tam established Isari Flower Studio + Event Design in 1991 as owner and lead designer. First as the in-house florist at the Four Season Resort, Aviara, the company grew to serve exclusive hotels and clients in San Diego. When Four Seasons changed hands to Park Hyatt in 2010, Tam moved her studio to Solano Beach. The new location on North Cedros is a beautiful retail boutique and design studio with loft-like architecture where clients can experience Tam’s vision to capture nature’s beauty.
