Be inspired by an evening that explores connections between creative cocktails, distinctive fare, and three exhibitions on view at ArtMix the Museum's new event series. Innovative libations and pairing stations will explore aspects of "culture fusion" through culinary interpretations by Campine Catering and Snake Oil Cocktail Company.
Journey through The Invention of Glory with Dr. John Marciari and enter the 12th century with a sampling of Tangier street food and cocktail pairings, served on wooden shingles. Tour Dynamic: Blue Note After Rivera with Dr. Ariel Plotek and enjoy a tequila grapefruit cocktail and food pairings served from a wooden donkey cart. Explore Imagined as the Truth with Alexander Jarman and congregate at a British tea station complete with gin cocktails and tea sandwiches.
Relish in the evening's flavorful delights while trying your hand at creating your own culinary interpretations. Pickle your choice of unique, fresh ingredients, blend your own combination of spices, and take this artfully concocted experience home with you at the end of the night. DJ Juan Rama will spin an all-vinyl set, adding to the eclectic ambiance of the evening.
Please note that this event is 21+ only.
