December Nights

The Museum will be closed during the day and open from 5:00 – 9:00 p.m., December 7 and 8, in celebration of Balboa Park’s 35th annual December Nights holiday festival. In addition to free admission the Museum will host concerts in the Hibben Gallery both evenings.

Parking & Shuttle Information
Free Shuttles:

• PETCO Park Shuttle at Tailgate Park at Imperial Ave. and 13th St.: Parking is $5.00 per vehicle. Shuttle is free, takes around 10 minutes to arrive at the park, and drops off at 6th and Laurel streets.
• City College Lots between 16th and B Street: Parking is free.

Festival Information
Participating Balboa Park museums will offer free admission from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m., December 7 and 8. December Nights offers a truly multicultural experience with food, music, and entertainment from around the world. Some well-known traditions include the International Christmas Festival at the House of Pacific Relations Cottages; the annual Santa Lucia Procession at the Plaza de California; and musical and dance presentations.
