Learn new art projects, and meet and mingle with fellow educators during the annual Educators' Art Fair. Designed especially for K-12 educators, this program takes inspiration from Art of East Asia and features lesson plan ideas, docent-led tours of the installation, and four, 45-minute workshop/artist demonstrations.
Start your day off with a continental breakfast, and take home a helpful resource binder to start off your collection of Museum-inspired lessons for the classroom. All lessons are designed and presented by local K-12 visual arts educators, include Common Core connections, and will provide inspiration for exploring the variety of objects on view in the Art of East Asia installation.
Early registration recommended. Doors open at 8:00 a.m. the day of the event.
