Independent Curators and artists, Debby and Larry Kline, describe their thought processes as contemporary artists, and find commonalities between their body of work and the historical works from the permanent collection of the SDMA. The Klines are known for posing provocative questions and challenging preconceptions through their work, and in this lecture they will decipher motive in some of the great classical works of the collection in the search for contemporary meaning.
