Create pen and ink drawings inspired by the Museum's Spanish Baroque architecture. Use pen, ink, and wash to explore texture and tone, learn techniques such as cross hatching and stippling, and create line drawings inspired by the historic architecture of this place. Work convincingly or expressively, and use a variety of techniques to complete your own perspectival representations of interior and exterior spaces. Designed for beginners as well as those wishing to build on their existing skills. This workshop is led by local artist and educator, Damon Hitchcock, and will begin with a docent-led tour for inspiration.
The Second Saturday Workshop Series is a monthly adult program that explores exhibitions and installations at the Museum. Each begins with a tour of the related exhibition, followed by a fine art workshop. | Workshop Schedule
