Using pastel chalk on paper, create a drawing depicting the dramatic coloring and movement of clouds across the sky. Inspired by plein-air paintings, this workshop offers instruction on layering techniques, application processes, and contrasting visual elements such as complimentary colors and positive-negative shape relationships. Divided into three simple stages, this workshop is led by pastel artist, Susan Roden and will begin with a docent-led tour for inspiration.
Featuring a docent-led tour and fine artworkshop, the Second Saturday Workshop Series is an instructor-led adult program that explores exhibitions and installations at the Museum.
