East County Chapter
Our Mission
The East County Chapter promotes membership in and provides support to The San Diego Museum of Art from the communities in East County, supports art education for children in underserved schools, and provides members with opportunities to enrich their knowledge and appreciation of art.
Membership Benefits/Events
Your membership will give you opportunities to meet new friends, enrich your knowledge of art, and participate in fun activities in support of the Museum. Members and guests look forward each year to a wide array of fundraising events, including the annual Holiday Party and silent auction. Other events include public art tours, bus trips to museums, exhibitions, garden tours and other interesting venues. Recent trips included The Getty Villa, the Adamson House in Malibu, the Norton Simon Museum in Pasadena, and the Sam Maloof Arts and Crafts house.

Membership Meetings
Monthly lecture meetings, September through June, are held on the first Monday of the month at the Grossmont Healthcare Center Auditorium (unless noted otherwise) at 10:30 a.m. Meetings include presentations and programs that reflect ECC’s varied interest in a broad spectrum of the Arts.
