 Adult Classes

On January 16, 2009 the Museum Art School at the San Diego Museum of Art temporarily closed due to the difficult economic environment and declining enrollment. The Museum will use this opportunity to understand national best practices that will ensure the school’s future success and increase participation. Spring break camps will not be held in 2009.

Education remains a core mission for SDMA, and the Museum is committed to providing quality and relevant art programming for adults and children. SDMA will continue to offer free tours for all schools county-wide, participate in School in the Park activities, provide free docent tours daily, offer interactive learning via the IMAGE Gallery, and host family-oriented outreach activities such as monthly Family Drop-In Day and quarterly Family Festivals.
