Summer at the Museum
It's the Summer of Spain at The San Diego Museum of Art.
Stop by all summer to see Spanish Sojourns: Robert Henri and the Spirit of Spain and Sorolla and America—two exhibitions which focus on the transcontinental cultural exchanges between Spain and America at the turn of the 21st century.
Make a night out of your visit to the Museum. Grab a drink at Panama 66, offering bar service until 8:00 p.m. every Thursday and Friday. See Sorolla and America for the first, second, or fifth time before it leaves town August 26. Stay late for extended gallery hours (through 8:00 p.m.) August 23-26. Grab a picnic, a blanket, and a few friends, and watch the final Film in the Garden Monday, August 25 at sundown.
From Second Saturday Workshops to Sunday Family Drop-In Days, the Museum offers a year-round schedule of workshops, classes, and educational programs appropriate for all ages and skill levels. This summer, the Museum offers a comprehesive listing of week-long, half-day, multi-media Summer Youth Programs for Grades K-5 and 9-12. Space still available!
