Students explored summer exhibitions and learned to create work in a variety of media during the Museum's 2014 Summer Youth Programs. These week-long, half-day classes were taught by visiting artists, art educators, and community members. Combine a half-day program at The San Diego Museum of Art with a half-day program at another Park institution to create a full-day of summer fun. | Balboa Park camp schedule

Studio C | Brush to Canvas: All About Painting (Grades 9 – 12)
Learn how to stretch and mix canvases. Use these canvases as a foundation for indoor and outdoor acrylic and watercolor paintings, and works created using a variety of media.
Studio D | Teen Portfolio Development II (Grades 9 – 12)
Develop a portfolio for submission to fine arts colleges while expanding foundational undestandings of art-making practices. This Studio is recommended for students currently, or previously enrolled in Teen Portfolio Development I.
