May S. Marcy Sculpture Court & Garden
Situated directly outside the museum and adjacent to the Copley Auditorium, the May S. Marcy Sculpture Court is a beautiful outdoor courtyard featuring 19th and early 20th century monumental sculptures by artists such as Henry Moore, Louise Nevelson and David Smith. This is the perfect outdoor setting – a winning combination of the opportunities provided by San Diego’s climate and great sculpture as a setting for receptions of 400 to 800 or sit-down dinners of 250 to 500.
The May S. Marcy Sculpture Court has minimal lighting for evening events, so arrangements for additional lighting may be necessary. The May S. Marcy Sculpture Garden is not equipped with lights, therefore evening events require lighting. Food and drinks are allowed in both.
