DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, March 10\n10 a.m. (Doors open at 10 a.m. | Event starts at 10:15 a.m.)\nMuseum Boardroom \nProfessional conservators receive training in chemistry\, anthropology\, materials science\, and art history in order to fend off the many causes of deterioration that threaten the longevity of artworks. This panel discussion will explore the methods that conservators use to preserve works of art\, with special focus on the materials\, techniques\, and challenges related to conservation of works of art from India.
