This series is curated by award-winning trumpeter Gilbert Castellanos\, recognized six-times by the San Diego Music Awards as BEST JAZZ BAND and ARTIST OF THE YEAR; San Diego CityBeat readers voted him BEST JAZZ BAND three times\, including 2018! \nAt 7:30 p.m.\, a preconcert talk will be given by Ken Poston\, the General Manager for KSDS Jazz 88.3\, and the Founder and Director of the Los Angeles Jazz Institute.
