DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, March 17\n8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. \nSOLD OUT\nLearn about women in art and women artists in this bus trip to two Pasadena Museums. \nNorton Simon Museum\n“Matisse/Odalisque” Explore the theme of the odalisque in 19th and 20th century European art by artists such as Matisse\, Bazille and Picasso. Be dazzled by Titian’s “Portrait of a Lady in White” on special loan from a German Museum. \nIn “Once Upon a Tapestry: Woven Tales of Helen and Dido\,” see artworks that explore the fates of two heroines from classical mythology. \nPasadena History Museum\nIn “Something Revealed: California Women Artists Emerge\, 1860–1960\,” see more than 270 works of art by California female artists. \n  \nWater\, snacks\, and videos will be provided on the tour bus.
