Free-spirited trolley driver Orfeu falls for the lovely newcomer Eurydice on the eve of Carnival\, but their joy is short-lived as they soon find themselves pursued both by Orfeu’s jealous fiancée and by the masked figure of Death. 1959\, Rated PG\, 107 min. In Portuguese with English subtitles \nFilm screenings for Screen on the Green start at sundown (roughly 8:00 p.m.) on Thursdays in August at the Botanical Garden Lawn in Balboa Park. \nSandwiches\, snacks\, and beverages (non-alcoholic) are available at Panama 66’s Grab & Go located in front of the restaurant until sundown. \n\nFilm Sponsors\n\n\nEach Thursday in August\, the Museum will host a Lovesac Lounge for one lucky group to enjoy an exclusive viewing experience during Screen On The Green.
