DESCRIPTION:Friday\, March 19\n10:00 a.m. PT\nSpeaker: Brian Selznick\, award-winning author\, screenwriter\, and illustrator \nBrian Selznick joins us for an engaging conversation about telling stories through art. His experience includes winning the Caldecott Medal in 2008 for writing and illustration of “The Invention of Hugo Cabret\,” which was made into an Academy Award-nominated movie directed by Martin Scorsese and starring Ben Kingsley. Brian is a lifelong artist who draws constantly and loves going to art museums to see all the beautiful drawings that other artists make.
