DESCRIPTION:Thursday\, September 23\n2:00 p.m.–3:00 p.m. PT \n  \nGreek and Roman mythology have been important aspects of Western literature and art for over 2500 years.  In this virtual tour\, we will view sculptures\, paintings\, etchings\, and engravings spanning six centuries that all contain mythological figures.  We will view the art\, explore the stories behind the figures\, and also discuss current-day messages for many of these. \nPlease reserve your spot by clicking on this link. Thornton Rotunda \n  \n\n  \nEnter into the vortex with an intimate experimental dinner party at The San Diego Museum of Art in partnership with Cow by Bear. \nThe adventurous private experience will be a night to remember for up to 40 guests. \n\nEnjoy a private\, in-depth tour of the cosmic and dreamlike exhibition\, Everything You See Could Be a Lie: Photorealistic Drawings by Ana de Alvear \nExperience an intriguing multi-sensory\, multi-course group dining adventure created by Cow by Bear with food for the gastronomically daring inspired by the exhibition\nSip effervescent beer pairings for each course provided by Pure Project and mountain water from Liquid Death\nHear the wistful musical stylings of the Teeny-Tiny Pit Orchestra\n\n  \n\n  \nDue to our art-inspired evening with Cow by Bear being a gastronomically adventurous event\, we unfortunately cannot offer menu substitutions. The full menu is part of the adventure\, but we can share that the menu will include delicacies from the sea and land (yes\, that includes bugs). Seating will be at two communal tables of 20.
