She earned degrees at the University of California and Stanford University before opening an art gallery that showcased contemporary Hispanic artists. She has served on art museum boards\, edited and published exhibition catalogs\, contributed to anthologies\, and written for art journals. \nWhen not traveling or attending an art exhibit\, she can be found in San Diego or Kauai watching films\, reading alongside her husband who collects 18th and 19th century travel narratives\, and sharing photos of her grandchildren with her wine-drinking book clubs\, bridge\, and golfing pals. Attribution is her first novel.
