DESCRIPTION:Friday\, May 19\n10:00 a.m. PT\nSpeaker: Anita Feldman\, Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs and Education\, The San Diego Museum of Art\nVirtual Event \n  \nDon’t miss this guest lecture by Anita Feldman\, The San Diego Museum of Art’s Deputy Director for Curatorial Affairs and Education\, on the research behind the groundbreaking O’Keeffe and Moore exhibition. Ms. Feldman will focus on the works by these two artists in the Museum’s permanent collection and O’Keeffe and Moore’s respective working methods. O’Keeffe and Moore\, on view at The San Diego Museum of Art May 13 through August 27\, 2023\, is a one-of-a-kind exhibition uniting the works of these artists for the first time\, and recreating their studios in the Museum with their original studio contents\, tools\, and furnishings. More than 120 works of art by the two iconic modernists will be on view from nearly 30 museums\, institutions\, and lenders around the world including the Georgia O’Keeffe Museum and Henry Moore Foundation. Prior to joining The San Diego Museum of Art in 2014\, Ms. Feldman was Head of Collections and Exhibitions for the Henry Moore Foundation in England\, curating exhibitions of his work worldwide.
