SUMMARY:Bus Tour: A Day at the Getty Center (SOLD OUT)
DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, January 5\n7:00 a.m.–7:30 p.m. \n  \nSOLD OUT\nTravel with us to the Getty Center for two private tours. One tour will focus on the exhibition Ultra-Violet: New Light on Van Gogh’s Irises and other Impressionist works on view. The other tour will be on the architecture of the Getty Center. These will be followed by lunch\, with multiple options available on-site\, from a coffee cart to a full-service restaurant. Advance reservations recommended for the restaurant. After lunch\, enjoy the Getty Center at your leisure. The group will gather in the large café at 4:00 p.m. to share our thoughts before returning to San Diego\, with wine\, beer\, and non-alcoholic drinks available for purchase. \nTour ticket includes travel to the Getty Center\, guided docent tours\, and snacks\, coffee\, water\, and non-alcoholic drinks available on the bus ride. Poussou will share concrete examples of successful initiatives\, including specialized spaces for different age groups\, digital innovations\, and mobile museum projects that have expanded access beyond Paris.
