In this drop-in activity\, participants will create their own painted tiles using paint pens while exploring the geometric and vegetal motifs found in 13th-century Persian pottery. \nThe SDMA Teen Council offers high school students the opportunity to engage collaboratively with Museum staff and peers\, contributing their voices to developing and implementing community-based art programs. \nThis event is open to all ages and skill levels. No reservation is required. All materials are provided. \n  \n Featured: Bowl\, Iran\, 13th century. Ceramic. In this workshop you’ll be given the opportunity to consider the various themes depicted in the exhibition and tie it all together through the creation of a zine\, a small booklet filled with text and images. Celebrate yourself and the important women in your life through a morning of mindful art-making in the MOPA@SDMA Atrium.    \n  \nSave your spot by clicking on this link. \nRegistration is limited to 15 people.
