DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, March 15\n1:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m.\nMuseum of Photographic Art at The San Diego Museum of Art (MOPA@SDMA)\nAtrium \n  \nThe Museum in partnership with Ballet Collective San Diego presents Dances in Light and Space\, a set of dances inspired by Foster + Partners: Architecture of Light and Space. See Ballet Collective members perform dances inspired by the exhibition and choreographed to highlight the Museum’s architecture\, as well as the themes seen in Foster’s work\, through space\, time\, sound\, and movement. \nBallet Collective San Diego is a platform for local professional dancers in San Diego to train at no cost\, create work\, and challenge each other in the pursuit of excellence. Through project-based performances we share the joy of dance with the greater San Diego and national community. \nThe 30-minute performances will begin at \n\n1:00 p.m.\n2:30 p.m.\n\n  \nFree with Museum admission. MOPA@SDMA is a pay-what-you-wish museum open Thursdays through Sundays 11:00 a.m.– 5:00 p.m. Admission to The San Diego Museum of Art is not included. \nPerformance date and times are subject to change. \n\n SDMA+ programs are offered by The San Diego Museum of Art in collaboration with other local arts institutions to create unique experiences and a deeper exploration of the art on view.
