DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, June 10\n8:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.\nLACMA \n\nCome tour 3 exciting exhibitions on view at LACMA (Los Angeles County Museum of Art). \nSEE works by one of the most influential 20th-century British artists in David Hockney: 82 Portraits and 1 Still-life. \nVIEW provocative contemporary art of Iran\, In the Fields of Empty Days: The Intersection of Past and Present in Iranian Art\, which was the subject of the May 18 docent-sponsored lecture by curator Linda Komaroff\, Ph.D. \nEXPERIENCE artworks from one of the first great cities of the Western Hemisphere\, which flourished 1\,000 years before the Aztecs’ arrival in central Mexico in the exhibition City and Cosmos: The Arts of Teotihuacan. \nLight refreshments will be provided on the bus. Please note that lunch will not be provided.\nDining options at LACMA include Ray’s & Stark Bar\, the LACMA Café and C+M (Coffee and Milk)\, and Drago restaurant in the Peterson Automotive Museum directly across La Brea from LACMA. \n\nTickets\n$85 docents and members | $95 non-members \n\nBuy Bus Tour Tickets \n\nSchedule:\n8:00–8:30 a.m.\nBus leaving San Diego/North County. Light refreshments provided on bus \n10:45 a.m.\nApproximate arrival time at LACMA for ticketed entry at 11:00 a.m. \n3:00 p.m.\nAnticipated departure from Los Angeles \n5:00–5:30 p.m.\nAnticipated return to La Costa Park and Ride and Balboa Park \n\nPick Up Locations:\nBalboa Park \nBus will be on President’s Way at the north end of the Pan American Plaza parking lot (opposite end from the Air and Space Museum)\nPlease arrive at 7:45 a.m. Bus leaves promptly at 8:00 a.m. \n\nLa Costa \nBus will be at the La Costa Park and Ride (710 La Costa Avenue)\, just east of Interstate 5.
