DESCRIPTION:Wednesday\, August 23rd \n1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. PT \n  \nGeorgia O’Keeffe and Henry Moore were uncannily similar in their need to be in nature and in their collection of natural forms such as bones\, stones\, and shells\, and both used these found objects as sources for their work. They independently sought and were inspired by the organic roots of modern abstraction\, half a world away from each other. This tour will explore these artists’ works and the connection between the themes in which they were engaged\, comparing their working methods\, exploration of found objects\, and the juxtaposition of unlikely forms. \nPlease reserve your spot 24 hours before the event by clicking on this link.
