The San Diego Museum of Art to Open TERRA: Fernando Casasempere
The renowned Chilean artist will create four ceramic installations that explore climate change, sustainability, and our Earth SAN DIEGO – The San Diego Museum of Art is pleased to present TERRA: Fernando Casasempere. The Chilean ceramic sculptor’s first solo exhibition in the United States highlights the urgency of the environmental crisis through installations that utilize the Earth as both subject and medium. Debuting during Art Alive, the Museum’s signature fundraising event, the exhibition—previously presented in Madrid at Casa de América—will be on view from April 29 through September 5, 2022.
