Education
The San Diego Museum of Art is committed to making art accessible to the community both onsite at the Museum and at other locations throughout San Diego. The Museum has created a broad range of programs centered around its collection and exhibitions. These programs--ranging from tours and lectures to music performances, dance performances, and films to hands-on art activities and Family Programs--are designed to help audiences understand the exhibitions and to encourage the creative process.
We serve children, adults, educators, and families in the San Diego area through educational and interpretive programs and performances in the Museum's galleries, classrooms, and auditorium, and through outreach programs in the community.
All interpretative material in the galleries are provided in both English and Spanish.
