Upon arrival at the Laguna Art Museum, we’ll be greeted by Malcolm Warner (Executive Director) and Janet Blake (Curator of Historical Art) for a private tour of the exhibition Phil Dike: At the Edge of the Sea, the first comprehensive museum exhibition in over forty years of works by this prominent member of the California regionalist movement of the 1930s and 1940s. Following, enjoy lunch next door at Las Brisas overlooking the ocean. In the afternoon, we will head to the Irvine Museum for a tour of the exhibition Dusk Till Dawn featuring In Morning Light by Alfred Mitchell, which portrays an early-morning view of a La Jolla beach.
