Bloom Bash is the luminous late-night celebration that launches Art Alive weekend. Inspired by the vibrant spirit of Palm Springs, the 2027 event invites guests into a dreamlike desert escape filled with art installations, bold botanical designs, immersive entertainment, and elevated culinary experiences. Mid-century sophistication meets contemporary creativity as every space comes alive with unexpected moments of discovery. Guests will enjoy exclusive after-hours access to the Art Alive floral exhibition and dancing beneath the stars, making Bloom Bash one of San Diego’s most anticipated social events of the year.

Bloom Bash packages provide even more extraordinary fun, with options including early access and valet parking. Partner with The San Diego Museum of Art by purchasing a Bloom Bash package. As San Diego’s quintessential fundraiser for the visual arts, Art Alive and Bloom Bash provide critical financial support for public programs, education, community outreach, and exhibitions throughout the year. VIP Packages start at $1,500 for two people.
Bloom Bash is a 21+ event. ID required. Please bring your ID and printed or electronic ticket to the event. Proceeds from Bloom Bash and Art Alive, The San Diego Museum of Art’s signature fundraiser and annual floral exhibition, benefit education, outreach, and art initiatives year-round. Bloom Bash tickets are tax deductible (less $75 per ticket). If you are unable to attend, please return your tickets in advance of Bloom Bash so that your donation is fully deductible. Tickets are non-refundable. In the event of Bloom Bash cancellation due to inclement weather, all tickets are considered fully deductible charitable donations.
