Friday, September 13
8:00 p.m.
James S. Copley Auditorium
Presented in conjunction with the exhibition Black Life: Images of Resistance and Resilience in Southern California, the screening of the 2016 documentary Agents of Change is followed by a Q&A from co-producer and co-director Frank Dawson. Chronicling the stories and struggles of black activists at the forefront of the civil rights and black power movements, Agents of Change draws compelling links between the high-profile protests across university campuses of the 1960s and the battles for educational equality still ongoing today.
Presented in partnership with the San Diego African American Fine Arts Museum.
