The Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego and The San Diego Museum of Art invite you to the 21st annual Axline Lecture featuring internationally acclaimed architect Annabelle Selldorf. Selldorf is the lead architect of the expansion of MCASD’s flagship in La Jolla. Her firm’s clients have also included cultural institutions such as the Frick Collection (as shown in the above rendering), the Smithsonian American Museum of Art, the Hispanic Society Museum & Library, The Clark Art Institute, Neue Galerie New York, and Luma Arles.
The online lecture is free to all. Zoom event registration is being managed by the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Visit the MCASD event webpage to reserve your spot.
The Axline Lecture is presented annually by The San Diego Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego to recognize the extraordinary bequest by Rea and Jackie Axline to both institutions in 1999.
