Join contemporary artist Nancy Lorenz, whose abstract Japanese-inspired gilding and lacquerwork is the subject of the Museum’s exhibition Nancy Lorenz: Moon Gold, as she explores the genesis of her work, her creative process, and her place in the world of contemporary art.
The Axline Lecture is presented annually by The San Diego Museum of Art and the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego in recognition of the extraordinary bequest by Rea and Jackie Axline to both institutions in 1999.
