Join The San Diego Museum of Art in exploring Keith Haring’s approach to the self-portrait. In this workshop you will embark in the creation of your very own Pop Art self-portrait using the expressive lines that made Haring’s work so iconic. Take this opportunity to challenge the traditional portrait, play with words and lines, and discover new ways to express your likeness on canvas.

This multi-generational workshop is intended to encourage members of our community of all ages to explore the boundless possibilities that can occur at the intersection of visual and literary art.

This FREE event is inspired by The Art of the Portrait installation, currently on view in Gallery 17.
