The San Diego Museum of Art Library
Join us for an enchanting storytime with author Omid Arabian at The San Diego Museum of Art Library!
Families are invited to experience the magic of Persian mysticism through captivating readings from Omid’s beloved children’s books, inspired by the poetry of the great Rumi. Enjoy tales from The Heart’s Garden, The Donkey’s Gone!, and You Are Everything, as well as insights from Omid’s translations of Rumi’s timeless works. Storytimes will take place at 10:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. inside the Museum’s Library, with entry near the Panama 66 restaurant.
This Books & Art: Storytime in the Library is inspired by the Wonders of Creation: Art, Science, and Innovation in the Islamic World, a special exhibition on view at The San Diego Museum of Art through January 5, 2025.
Omid Arabian’s books are available for purchase in The Museum Store. Visit The Museum Store for artful gifting and curated selections.
