Join Museum educators for an art-making event in the Museum of Photographic Arts at The San Diego Museum of Art (MOPA@SDMA) atrium.

Guided by Museum educators, explore weaving using silk sari remnants! Inspired by work int he Museum’s permanent collection, learn about warp and weft while you make your own small weaving using cardboard looms, silk sari remnants, yarn, and other textiles.

No reservation required. All materials will be provided.

 

Great for artists of all ages, Community Art Workshops invite artists to enjoy hands-on art making experiences inspired by the thinking and creating processes of artists on view at the Museum.
