Gallery Collective members are invited to join us for a studio visit and talk with San Diego–based artist Amanda Kachadoorian, the artist-in-residence at Bread & Salt in Logan Heights. Join us for a behind-the-scenes look at what is involved in an artist residency, view in-process and finished works, and learn more about the artist’s practice of research and implementation.

Amanda Rose Kachadoorian is an emerging Californian artist who was born and raised in San Diego, California. She is a recent graduate from the University of California, Berkeley with a BA in Art Practice. Currently, she is the artist-in-residence at Bread & Salt. Her project evolves around creating hybrid botanicals based on San Diego’s multicultural history to speak about multiculturalism, colonialism and globalization.
