Doña Bárbara is a sweeping melodrama set in Venezuela, starring María Félix, whose portrait by Diego Rivera is featured in the exhibition.
(Mexico, 1943) Not Rated. This film is presented in Spanish with English subtitles.

Presented as part of the Latin American Film Series, a selection of five films that bring to life characters, stories, issues, and themes portrayed or evoked in Modern Masters from Latin America: The Pérez Simón Collection.
