Follow Derrick R. Cartwright, Curatorial Director at the Timken Museum, for a discovery of their collection, including works by European old masters, 19th century American art and Russian icons. Also, learn about Witness to War: Callot, Goya, Bellows, with The San Diego Museum of Art’s Associate Curator of European Art, Michael Brown, Ph.D.. The more than 100 prints, etchings and lithographs by Jacques Callot, Francisco Goya and George Bellows form an evocative exhibition illustrating the human condition in times of conflict.
Then, transition to the San Diego Museum of Art’s James S. Copley Auditorium for drinks and to participate in an activity of printmaking.
