Utilizing techniques employed during Spain’s Golden Age, this workshop invites participants to employ cochineal insects as an organic dye for natural fiber textiles. Attendees will manipulate
their fabric using multiple methods—shibori clamp, tie, wrapped, and folded resist—to create a unique pattern on each piece. Open to all skill levels. Recommended for ages 16+ years. Price includes materials fee and light refreshment.
