Thursdays in August means Screen on the Green!
Shot after-hours on the same sets as its better-known English counterpart, the Spanish-language Drácula boasts flamboyant cinematography, moody atmosphere, and intense performances—which is why many critics have for years argued that it is the superior adaptation of Bram Stoker’s novel. 1931, Rated PG, 104 min. In Spanish with English subtitles
Film screenings for Screen on the Green start at sundown (roughly 8:00 p.m.) on Thursdays in August at the Botanical Garden Lawn in Balboa Park.
Sandwiches, snacks, and beverages (non-alcoholic) are available at Panama 66’s Grab & Go located in front of the restaurant until sundown.
Each Thursday in August, the Museum will host a Lovesac Lounge for one lucky group to enjoy an exclusive viewing experience during Screen On The Green. You can win the opportunity to watch the week’s film in a premium location on “The World’s Most Comfortable Seat™” for yourself and a group of friends.
