Thursdays in August means Screen on the Green!
Full of Alfred Hitchcock’s trademark twists and turns, this psychological thriller follows an on-the-run amnesiac (Gregory Peck) aided by a lovely doctor (Ingrid Bergman) in seeking the truth about the murder of which he has been accused. Spellbound features a celebrated dream sequence designed by none other than Surrealist master Salvador Dalí. 1945, Rated PG, 118 min.
Film screenings for Screen on the Green start at sundown (roughly 8:00 p.m.) on Thursdays in August at the Botanical Garden Lawn in Balboa Park.
Sandwiches, snacks, and beverages (non-alcoholic) are available at Panama 66’s Grab & Go located in front of the restaurant until sundown.
Each Thursday in August, the Museum will host a Lovesac Lounge for one lucky group to enjoy an exclusive viewing experience during Screen On The Green. You can win the opportunity to watch the week’s film in a premium location on “The World’s Most Comfortable Seat™” for yourself and a group of friends.
