Thursdays in August means Screen on the Green!
In this swashbuckling adaptation of the classic Persian legend, heroic adventurer Sinbad the Sailor faces down all manner of obstacles—a cyclops, giant birds of prey, evil sorcerers, and magic genies—in his quest to rescue his bewitched fiancée. Featuring pioneering stop-motion special effects designed by Ray Harryhausen (Jason and the Argonauts), Sinbad was chosen in 2008 for preservation by the Library of Congress. 1958, Rated G, 88 min
