In the spirit of Cauleen Smith’s contemporary response to Juan Sánchez Cotán’s Quince, Cabbage, Melon, and Cucumber, members of San Diego performance group Black Xpression will offer an innovative tour through the Museum’s galleries with original songs, spoken word pieces, and poetry.

  SDMA+ programs are offered by The San Diego Museum of Art in collaboration with other local arts institutions to create unique experiences and a deeper exploration of the art on view.
