Art of the “Prophets” takes you on an exploration of the artworks of the Nabis, influential avant-garde painters of the 1890s. Considering themselves creators of a new subjective art that was deeply rooted in the soul of the artist, the Nabis used color, decorative patterns and personal imagery to express the underlying spirit of the moment. These brilliant masterpieces are from the current exhibition Monet to Matisse on loan from the Bemberg Foundation.
