In the past, Museums often told cultural stories from the point of view of one part of society, disregarding a myriad of cultures and perspectives. Today there is an effort on the part of those institutions to rectify that. This tour will focus on the art of these often imperial cultures from the vantage point of people who are not always well-represented in museums. What else was going on in the world that we do not see in the art and why do we not see it?
